Holy cr@p, been away from the site for a bit and log on to see this..... I cannot put into words how much it pains me to see the pics of your house. But even through that destruction you hold your head high and keep on with being you, including your unique sense of humor. Stay strong, the both of you

So sorry to hear about this. I know it is long past and I hope things are moving on now for you. I got so worked up with starting a business I stopped living a life. Soon we will be moving to a more accommodating retirement town and will not be working. I will be able to spend more time meeting and talking here too.

I pray all works out for you and your family.

Best wishes that everything is the best it can be, Apoc. With your character, it'll all end up better than it ever was.

I've been away from the site for a while, just catching email updates so I missed this until today. I am glad to hear the pups made it out ok and you guys were not home. I see your sense of humor is keeping you on a path of sanity and you'll need that for the long road ahead. Remember that we are truly a brotherhood on FTE and if you need anything that if you can bring yourselves to let us know, we will make it happen. I saw the other post and know you guys realize that everyone here will help. Please take care of yourselves and the pups and keep us updated as you have the chance. Most importantly prayers are headed to you.

I just read through this (and the other) thread, reading along with a glazed over look with many different emotions...

I am HAPPY that y'all are safe and sound, and HAPPY that the FTE community and others rallied together for you. That was amazing.

I am HOPEFUL that everything works out for you and that everything returns to normal soon. We'll be praying for y'all.

I am UNDERSTANDING of your situation, as I have been through a house fire myself and my wife has been through a few. Even when you start over with all new stuff, there were just things that couldn't be replaced.

And finally, I am SAD and DISAPPOINTED at the fact that we had a lot of stuff going on that kept me off the boards for a bit, other than checking a few threads I had saved. My wife just had a major surgery (Chiari Malformation, or as the doctor put it- near-brain surgery) and I've been fighting with the VA's Voc Rehab to try to get into school before the school deadline. I missed your entire ordeal, and I just got through it tonight, all while dealing with multiple vehicle issues. I want to kick myself in the **** for not checking the boards and seeing this. We don't have much, but we would have kicked in something, as every little bit helps. I am so sorry I missed all of this.

We'll be praying for you.
