Oh no! Sorry to hear the bad news Glad you and your family are safe. I wish you the best and I hope everything gets put back to normal soon. If there is anything I can do to help, let me know.
I'm happy to send a care package with toiletries, snacks, and stuff you might need, please PM me an address for the hotel and I'll get it done. I promise to make sure it's free of unicorn poop and sparkles.
Everything is great, I have my family and insurance so no worries. I'm going to try to tell the insurance that the fire burned the 6.0 out of my truck and I need a new one swapped in where the 6.8 is (no idea how that got there) but other than that I expect no issues.

Gee, I thought that it had the 6.7 upgrade.
Give me shout if there is ANYTHING I can do for you Apoc.
Geez man--so so sorry to see you have to go throught this. The pics kinda say it all. As all have said, the important things are safe. You have our prayers!

Ditto to all of the above. This is a bummer but not the end of the world. Pics look like my parents house after they had a fire 15 yrs ago. Cleanup company will salvage some stuff at least, and the insurance should deal with the rest.
The rest of the house seems fine but the walls are pitch black like twitchy has been rollin coal in my house for an hour and the floors are soaked from the dishwasher line melting.
Damn... I feel your pain! I went through this in 2007 and had a pregnant wife at the time. Nobody was home and I was in Ohio working. Got woken up at 6am to my neighbor calling me to say the fire dept was in the house with smoke rolling out the upstairs windows. Tell the insurance adjuster to bring his clipboard and checkbook. I hired my own adjuster that easily paid for herself in the claims work she took care of. 9 months and $130k later we finally got back in.
