On a side note, I just got a quick note from Apoc, here is what he said:

"everything's been so crazy it's getting on track but it looks like we're going to be living in a hotel (covered Liberty Mutual of course) for the next 3-6 months."

I can't imagine being in a hotel for that long, especially over the holiday season. We once had to stay in a hotel for almost three months, and we were climbing the walls by the end of it!

I know it has been said before, but my thoughts and prayers are with Jon and Wendy!

Went to the house one last time to make sure there wasn't anything left that we could pick up. Everything was either covered in search or smelled horrible and didn't want to bring it with us. Took the last few pictures and I really really really hope that cleanup starts this week so they can start fixing the house we can get moved back in soon.

sorry to see this happening, maybe you can rent a space in a park and live in a motorhome or travel trailer, would be allot nicer then a hotel.

Apoc, not sure if you have the space for this^^^^^

Back during hurricane Andrew (1995)... Many insurance companies delivered travel trailers and set up in people's driveways while the homes were being rebuilt.

Sorry to hear about this Apoc. Can't help but notice, is that food in a pot on the stove? I hope you didn't accidentally leave the burner on!

It was a crock pot and no, they figured it was the range hood wiring.

I know Red Cross has a Fire Relief program and when my business partner lost their house to a fire, Nationwide contacted them and they came and were a huge help.

Hey Apoc,

I'm just now seeing this. I'm very sorry to hear about your house fire but I am certainly glad you're all safe.

Although you have insurance, I know it can be a pain getting everything you need (clothes, toiletries, food, gasoline, etc.) day to day until insurance starts doing their thing. I'd like to send you a little something to help out. Do you have a PayPal account or similar way to send some cash?

Even if you don't NEED it, take it, hell use it to take your wife out to dinner one evening while you're working through this mess.

HOLY WOW.. Sorry to hear man! Didn't think I'd be saying this as my son's car was just obliterated in an accident and he's fine but we are a serious automotive family and for people around us to say "it's just a car, at least no one is hurt" rings true but still ****'s me off.

So happy to hear no injuries to anyone, pups included but stay up Apoc.

Your brothers and sisters in EX-dom got your back if you need anything.

Good Vibes heading your way.
