Does anyone know what years Centurion 4 door 1/2 tons were made? Would like to start searching for one and it would be simpler if I knew what years to be looking for. Thanks in advance.
Darren
I dont know what years they were made but I own one (93). Centurion still exists as a conversion company (pickups and vans) www.centurionvehicles.com. They have answered all my inquiries concerning my truck so I imagine they will answer yours. If any other C150 or C350 owners are out there, let me know.
Hi. I live in Northern Colorado and recently saw one of these vehicles for the first time. I know nothing about them and thought that since you have one you might be able to help. the one that I saw was a 1988 F-350 with the conversion. they wanted $8500 for it. What is a good price for one of these? i don't want to get ripped off. I would love it if I could find others but don't seem to know where to look. Any info you could give me would be great.
I don't know what a good price is since they are custom and don't show on a price list. If I were looking for one I would shop the blue book for the same year Bronco with like equipment and in the same shape. I would then add a couple of thousand and start there. If I were selling mine, that's how I would figure my asking price.
Hope that helps.
Where are you located? There are some up for sale here in Nebraska every now and than. They come up in the biweekly local farmer paper. Fifty percent of the people drive trucks or SUV's here.
I'm pretty sure it was 1989 for 4-door Bronco's. I have a Ford Times from 1989, that has a 1/2ton and 3/4ton 4-door on the inside cover.

I recently saw one on http://www.copartfinder.com/ and it was an 88 model. When you go to that site, punch in the zip code for dallas texas, (75211) and look for 87-91 Ford Full size pu!
That should bring it up. It looks like it is still in pretty good shape, even though it's just sitting in a wrecking yard!
Saw it, looks ok. Don't know why this guy is not selling the truck outright. Guess he doesn't know what he has. What a waste. Anyone interested in one might try getting him to change his mind. Don't let the interior picture throw you, as far as I can tell, the upside down seat in the picture is in fact the third seat for the back. The seat is held in by four bolts and should not be a problem getting back in.

Most likely he has no title to see an entire truck parts only is the way most recyclers have to sell there cars/trucks... At lleast in my part of the country
I saw a 1990 Centurion 1 ton (C350). It has a fuel injected 460 in it and runs like a whistle. It is black on black with 4doors. The engine is clean with only 82000 miles on it. Apparently the man who owns it only used it for fun. It has red leather interior with lots of extras (i.e. sliding sun roof, cruise, power locks, power windows including the big rear window). Anyway, I asked him what he wanted for it and he said to make an offer. I don't know where to begin. It also has a six inch lift kit installed with big aluminum rims and 33.5 mud tires. Could anyone help with a price?
Hello,I don't know how old this posting is but i figured id write in anyway.I live in central Jersey and I just recently puchased a Centurion 4 door bronco. It is a 1990 C-350 with a 7.3 diesel and the whole interior is cloth which i thought was odd since i thought they all came with leather, about all i know on this truck is that it was blue(it is now black)and that it is #456 of all that were built from Centurion.I have no idea what it looked like and i have repeatedly tried to get in touch with Centurion, which needless to say is totally useless. If anyone could help me out as to where i could find any literature about this truck or anything I would greatly apprieciate it.As far as I know they sold for like 45k when they were brand new and I do not know if any came out with a diesel in them since all i hear about is the 460 f.i motor.Again thatnks for all your help ...
Centurion built the Bronco conversion on all three chassis:1/2,3/4& 1 ton frames and included gas and diesel options. I have only seen the diesel option on the 3/4 and 1 ton versions though. Hard to say what the first year of production was, depends on who you talk to at Centurion. The earliest I've heard about was 1979 but haven't seen the vehicle yet.
Check out the Centurion Club link for more. There are a few owners and admirers that can help with questions and we post any trucks we find for sale on the forum.
The trucks are out there, just have to be patient and willing to travel if you find one you want.
There is also a little information on the other two companies that made this conversion but Centurion probably made the most diverse and highest production numbers. Hope this helps.
