Blower Motor Going Out?
Tools are no problem, I shadowed my toolbox decades ago so missing tools are obvious. I worked aircraft maintenance so losing a tool (or anything) meant no one went home until the missing item was found.
I raised 2 sons and had all their friends' cars in the garage pulling wrenches and I still have the same set of tools. The "boys" are 42 and 37 now; still come by to wrench their cars because "all my tools are easier to find". haha

Actually, a couple of years ago I was talked into buying one of those little magnetic tool trays. The base is magnetic to hold the tray to whatever, and the inside of the tray holds some end-wrenches and whatnot for the task at hand. I had seen them and thought them sort of gimmicky, but since I got one it actually does help a little with the situation you have so hilariously described . . . helps very slightly . . . not enough to keep up with my heavy Altzheimers and lifelong wooly-headedness.
(I'm STILL cracking up at that, Annaleigh!!)
It appears to be working fine now that it has been ran for a while. It has not turned off in a month now even running on high for 30 to 45 minutes at a time..
The van sat for a few years and to add to that, the crowl to hood seal has come loose from the clips that hold it to the crowl allowing water to drip in between the hood and crowl. I think that might be where some of the odd rust came from on the I beams and oil pan. Also it might have contributed tot he alternator bearings going out. But i am also guessing extra moister got in the blower motor and perhaps when i first got the van, the motor was overheating from binding when turning... Either way, it is working fine now....
Thanks for all the help and advice and i know what to do now if it does quit working..
