howdy folks..
I'm new to this very informative forum. I've been reading posts on here for a long time, but now I am in need of help. So this is my first time posting.
My nephew has a 2001 ford explorer with a brake fluid leak. Seemed fairly simple at first glance. The master cylinder was obviously leaking in to the booster and running down the outside as well. But then he pointed out what he thought was leaking. At the front, lower, left of the engine compartment,
there is a plastic valve attached to a rubber/plastic line. There seams to be brake fluid coming from this line while the brakes are being applied. I have never seen a valve(looks like some sort of inline vacuum valve) that looks like this one. Nor do I have a clue how brake fluid could come to be in this line. Its located in the lower left, right above the frame. does anyone know anything about this? Sorry in advance for my lack of information..LOL
I would think someone on the more specific site could help you out with your thread question.
Bruce
