I thought about converting to LED lights front and rear, but I don't think the flashers would work?

Led lights

It's important to remember that if your lens is red then buy red led lights, same with amber. The leds have a light wavelength that will shine through the lens. If you use white leds the light will appear white/pale red when you use apply the brakes.

You can buy electronic flashers or add a resistor. www.superbrightleds.com has those too. And instructions on how to apply them.

Hmm I'd think those flat face Leds could be a real pain too remover or even install since not much to grip onto. like on my 71 front parking/blinker lights.

I found installing or removing Leds into these is not the easiest having the bumper kind of restrict you to using a couple fingers tips with out having the bulb to hold onto and push & twist to set it..
