I believe the LED load equalizers are only needed for turn signals so the flashers do go into hyper mode. If going with LEDs, I'd spend the money and get some good ones.
It does look tacky, but if you have a 7-way trailer plug, it lights up the back end big time. I actually have this along with LEDs. Tinted windows make it a necessity as my eyes have gotten older!
I put the zevo bulbs in and looking at them they appear brighter but when backing up they dont seem to put off anymore light. I think its the color that makes them appear brighter when looking at them. I can try to take a pic tonight.

Yea....not so good. I put mine in when I got home yesterday and that was my impression as well. Even shut the door of the garage to eliminate as much ambient light as possible and the old incandescents appeared brighter on the backside of the garage door. I'll give it some time but it was not the huge difference advertised. I've been told the reflectors are designed to reflect the single lamp source of an incandescent and that LED crystals and designed with focused lens on each diode. Still, I expected more from a name brand manufacture. In their defense, these may work well in another reflector....
Going another route here. Just bought a pair of backup LED lights (410 lumens each) from Diode Dynamics and I will move the ZEVOs to the cargo light....
I bought these to replace the back up lights in my 09. Been in almost a year and have not had any issues. A lot brighter then stock.

Then I decided I needed these. Flush mount in the rear bumper.
I replaced my cargo lights with these lights (JDM ASTAR 800 lumens Extremely Bright Error Free 921 912 PX Chipsets LED Bulbs For Backup Reverse Lights, Xenon White)
and my back up lights with these (JDM ASTAR Extremely Bright 3030 Chipsets 3056 3156 3057 3157 4157 LED Bulbs with Projector, Xenon White) from amazon. I can see much better and extremely bright on 2001 F350.
Okay, the 410 lumen backup lights came in from Diode Dynamics and my first impression is that its much brighter but its a slightly different color....more to the "cool" blue (5000K) side and away from the "warm" red" (~3000K). Rear camera images are much more clear and bright.
I moved the 921 LED Sylvania ZEVO to the cargo light spot.
I have a 20" Rigid on my truck and I just bought a Black Oak 30" bar for my Rzr. I think that the Black Oak is built just as good if not better than the Rigid. The light output on the Black Oak is much brighter although it's 10" longer. The Black Oak is also more budget friendly.
We just released a great product for backup lights and we are looking to get some members to give them a try and report back to the forum. These is a unique product to us and it's far from what you have seen before. Here are some pictures, please DM if interested to give them a try!

Looks good. I like the 3 year warranty too. I got all my previous stuff for 4 trucks from Retro solutions and have had nothing but problems wkth them dying all the time and a hassle havibg yo awns them back and forth and now I'm SOL that they are outside of warranty. So much for USA made meaning anything in their case, I would have been better off with some ebay specials!

I imagine the frustration, they seem to have been sponsors here before. Im sorry to hear you ran into all those problems. That is exactly why we only sell high quality products, my blood boils over knockoff products. I don't know how they sleep at night. I hope we can cooperate in the future!
