Alright i have the dual clifford headers and theres a bit of a perplexing problem in have...
The front pipe (front header) pushes realy hard and the exasut isnt that hot, where as the back pipe has less presure but is quite warm. Is this becouse the fonr header only has gental bends in it where as the rear header has 2 vary sharp (nearly 90*) to go around the motor mounts. Anyone have a good answer?
Well let me assume that you have rear exit dual exhaust (true duals). The length of the exhaust is going to make the difference you notice in both exhaust temp and pressure. The reason for this is because you have more cubic inches of area in the exhaust pipe for one side (meaning longer pipe used from header to exhaust tip) This causes an appearance of decreased pressure in one exhaust pipe and also gives the lower exit temp because you have more pipe and distance to dicipate heat. What I would suggest if you have not done it already would be to add an H or X pipe as close as possible to your header or cats if you have cats. What this does is ensures equalization of the pressure between the left and right side of the engine.
