I have a 1990 ford f250 4x4 it has a hypertech module
and it says hypertech on the ecm it has headman headers
and less than legal dual exhaust it also has a msd blaster
coil and K&N FIPK my problem is that it was in A major accident
and I put it back together (most of the front clip) and now it
runs realy rough and realy rich (it bellows black smoke when you
give it gas) I do not have a whole lot of experience with efi
and any help would be great thanks a million CHEVYSTOMPER
thanks for the help i have had the new o2 sensor
for a long time I just have not had the time to
get it to the muffler shop because a previous idiot
owner welded the thing in and now I need
to have the bung replaced
what do you mean an open loop and how would i fix that ?
Open loop basically means its operating just like it would at WOT because its not getting all the sensor inputs. Finding the bad sensors and correcting it is the solution.
