okay all these kids around town instead of buy a performance exhaust they removed everything and attached those short header attachments that only go only 3 inches out past each header opening. can this really mess up there performance? they seem to think it helps. PLus when you sit in the cab you have to have the window down becasue of the exhaust comes into the cab. So i realy like to rub this in ther e faces so if i need to bum a ride hoe on a col dnight i don't get frost bitten with my head out the window.

the basicly "open" header with only the collector attached, will hurt the low end torque and the gas mileage. exhaust gas builds up in the human body in a cumulative affect, in other words the more you breath it the more it skrews you up. over time it can cause things like 'cancer'. If they have exhaust fumes in the cab with the window up they have some leaks that need to be fixed . by extending the pipes by at least 3 feet they would help low end and get rid of most of the fumes, my 2c's, bob
