Engine Compatibility
Hey all, love this forum.
I need help. I have a 72 f100 with a 360 FE. I blew the head gaskets so I took the heads off to get them resurfaced, come to find out they are both cracked so I am looking for a decent set. There is a guy on craigslist selling a 360 engine and tranny he pulled from a 87 f350, my question is, Are the 360s from the 80s the same 360 FE from earlier years? If so then I will look at the engine and if its decent then I will take the heads and swap them onto mine.
Just looking for some thoughts and answer from you guys.
