Hey guys, I'm building a 390 for my old pickup and am in desperate need of cheap compression. I have a set of heads off of a '67 camper special that had a 352 FE in it and was wondering if they would fit my '75 390. I also didn't know if since they're pre-emission heads and off of a smaller engine if they would offer more compression than the stock heads from '75. My goal is to make around 400 hp, but I'm doing that on a very limited budget so I really don't want to spend a lot of money on the heads if i can help it (aside from having the machine shop go through them). Any info is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
