I can't think of any reason this would not work on any automatic transmission that has any kind of external cooler.
I can think of a reason. I'll even give you an example. The Ford 5R110 cannot be flushed with this method. It has an internal thermostat that will cause the new fluid to mix with the old instead of pumping out the old fluid.

Well! That's good to know. My newest vehicle is a '97, so I'm not up on current tech.
