No cruise or speedometer
Cruise can be tested from the steering wheel switches.
Power for Cruise comes through the master cylinder pressure switch.
A faulty or misadjusted brake switch will inhibit Cruise even if it is powered up.
Is the pressure switch open, has the recall been done for that circuit and now has a blown fuse in the inline fuse holder?
Only dash display for CC is the Green word that should light.
.
Speed display is dash micro processor driven with a signal from the computer.
Do the dash HEC diagnostic test for a test failure code.
You need to get some positive fault indications first besides just not working.
Good luck.
What should I look for?
Cruise control. Switch on master cylinder closed.Dealer says not in recall.Checked the hidden fuses up under the dash. Thanks for helping Bluegrass.
It has to show a fault if one is present.
Does the gages , Tach and Speedo all sweep when you do the Dash testing?
.
Have you tested for voltage at the pressure switch connector.
It will tell you if power is present from the fuse.
Is there continuity though the pressure switch?
What was the result of the Cruise test from the steering wheel?
.
The Recall:
It was due to a possible leaking pressure switch that eventually could result in a Carbon path to the master cylinder as a ground out.
This could cause a fire where by your vehicle could be lost at any time even in your garage in the middle of the night and even your home for an example.
The reason for the recall was to add a 'LOWER' value fuses in line that will blow should this happen and save your vehicle.
Only thing you would have from this is NO CC due to lack of power.
You need a better response to your issues so we know more about the conditions that are causing the issues.
Page 207 in your owner manual, fuse 5.
The door to access this panel is below the headlight switch assembly.
See page 161 top drawing for the panel area and pull handle.
Good luck.
The next step....dtc....will display any trouble code up to that point in the test sequence.
The rest of the sequence are performance indicators.
The ...dtc... position is the one that will show any fault codes if there are any in sequence before stepping to the next one as enG
If you see any codes in the dtc step, list them..

Cruise Control self testing:
1. Press CC Off switch and turn ignition to Run only.
2. Observe the Cruise lamp will flash once to tell you you entered the diagnostics.
3. Within 5 seconds press the ON, RESUME, COAST, and SET switches in that order.
The Lamp will flash with each switch pressed.
4. The lamp will flash once with the last SET switch unless there is a fault detected.
5. If there is 2, 3, or 4 flashes seen, it is a fault. One flash is tests pass.
6. Immediately after the last test is complete, the servo moves the control cable a short distance to prove that function. You can feel this with your foot lightly on the throttle.
.
Do both tests and report any fault code flashes you see in either system.
Good luck.
Cruise control test, on the first attempt,I went through the steps, and heard the servo.
When I repeated the test, once in test mode, the lamp only flashed after on was pressed. No flash after resume, coast, or set.Not looking good.
Thanks, Bluegrass

The dash lamp should flash once per switch operation acknowledge the switch operation and once on the last switch, then the servo action.
The CC module is located just front of the fuse box in the engine bay.
Check it's multi wire plug for seating.
Check the cable actuation link at the throttle body to e sure it's still in place.
If all tests pass, do a road test as 30mph or higher road speed.
.
Power for CC must come through the pressure switch supply to the module.
When in use, the CC is kicked off by three actions.
A. Power off switch.
B. Brake application from the pressure switch opening the supply and the brake pedal switch applying a voltage to inhibit the CC should the pressure switch fail to open power.
C. The Cost switch to interrupt CC control.
The set switch can also increase the speed of control by pulsing it manually, once in Cruise.
.
On the speedo issue, if no fault is shown on the dash diagnostics, either the speedo display is faulty or the dash is not getting the signal from the PCM.
It would require a good Scanner to look at the PCM for that issue.
Good luck.

The diagnostics does not let the test hang without completing.
Good luck.
