I want to replace my converters with freeflow replacements, but have been told these could cause problems. Has anyone replaced thiers? I already have 3" from the stock converters back.

As long as you replace them with OBDII compliant converters you should have no problem. Be cautious about what companies call high performance converters. Most all aftermarket converters use the same internal catalyst that has 400 cell per square inch. Even though they may say it's "High Flow" it really isn't.

I had thought about using the ExtremeFlow XF1.

The xtremeflow converters are basically car sound/magnaflow units with the standard 400 cell substrate. These will work for your application but be sure to shop around for price the xtreme flow units are no better than anyone else.
