yea looks like just a core.. somewhere in its past it was cleaned and painted (spark plugs and oil sender even) and then been rained in too.. not sure if it is even a good core without pulling the heads and pan... good luck with the sale
Engine is out of a 69 or later Ford pickup truck, most likely a 360 but some pickups came with 390's. The oil pan has the drain in the back and this only came on pickup's because the oil pan sump set over the cross member. Cars had the oil plug on the side of the sump and bigger trucks had a full length sump. It also has the oil filter adapter that sticks the filter out to the side, again this only came on pickup's so the filter would clear the cross member. Cars and bigger trucks used adapters that pointed the filter straight down.
Like others have said it's only worth a couple hundred as a core engine and if I was interested in buying it I want to pull the heads to check the condition of the cylinders.
