So I installed the bed cover last night and detailed it this morning. I sprayed the heck out of the cover and got very little moisture inside.....very happy.

New Bed Cover installed....3/17/2016

I went with a Retraxone MX . Love the fit and have only found drips of water around the tailgate after going thru high powered brush-less car washes.

The ReTrax is nice, I wanted one. I really like that it can lock in any position. The issue for me, is I park outside all year. The ice and snow causes problems with the canister style roll up covers.

I had debated the retrax or the paregon. Even though I like the paregon's look and unbeatable price, I just couldn't bring myself to drill holes in the side of my bed Just yet
I love the fact I can lock this one anywhere I want, and like you I park outside all the time - but in Eastern NC we only get snow/ice once or twice a year so I figured I could leave it closed on those rare occasions.

Does anyone know the advantages/disadvantages of the turxedor Titanium vs the BakFlip Rev X2. They both seem to be similar but the Trux uses Velcro to seal and the Bak uses EPDM. The Velcro seems like it would hold the cover down and reduce flapping at speed.

Bought the bakflip g2 on my way out of town. Not super excited about it since I can't close the gate without opening the cover..

Called the place I got it to ask about an exchange, they were like "if it's on your truck, there's nothing we can do". ... Gee thanks....

Research is your friend. I believe all the Bakflip models are like that and really any tonneau you want semi-sealed is going to be that way.

I like the fact that I can open and close the tailgate on my truck without opening my Retrax. It's been a great cover.

With a little adjustment on the cover you can get your gate to close with the cover closed. You just need to make sure the tailgate doesn't hit the edge of the rubber lip. Raising the cover up about 1/18 of an inch will work. Did it on my 2012 & it work nice. The Revolver X2 can be fully closed when closing the tailgate without an issue.

The rubber seals were pretty stiff and "wrinkly" Saturday, but today being in the sun they softened up quite a bit.

With that said I was able to open the tailgate no issue and close it without too much issue by not opening the end flap first.
