I have an 06 f150 and I've had to go through 4 soft covers because the sun beats up the threads and ruins the velcro, I have a tri fold soft top on it now and it's better but the threads are coming apart again. I am currently waiting for my 16 f150 to be built now and I'm goin with an aluminum roll back one this time. I think that one will still hold up to the wear and tear while still giving me almost full access to my bed.

Has anyone seen or anyone have a bed cover AND and truck bed tool box mounted? I'm talking about a bedrail mounted toolbox. Been curious about this combination.....

Thanks.

You may want to check into the different roll backs, some get pretty hot in the sun. You'll need gloves to open them w/o burning your hands or they may expand and bind when you open them. It's been 15 years since I had one, they may be better now.

Question for the bak revolver guys..

After its "rolled up". Can the roll come off easily , the loads I occasionally haul would be up against the front bed side, and higher than it.. I. Need something that can come completely off.

Got mine on order, but from the installation video, it doesn't look like it has an "easy" way to remove it. But it also looks like just two bolts holding it in. So if it's occasionally removed, this might be good enough.

What about Undercover brand? I've read some great reviews about them, don't leak, etc., very tough. Made in USA. I've decided it's either a ton (dagnabbed spelling of that word!) cover or a camper cap. Got to have a place for all me junk.

There are 4 nuts (2/side) that you would have to remove. It easy to remove but not as easy as the BacFlip hard folding cover. Under Cover uses the same hinge and folding system as BacFlip. BacFlip has all the patents for the hinges and seals. They license the technology to other manufacturers.

I am very happy with my Undercover. My 09 has had one on since new and it still looks good. No water leaks from rain but I have gotten some in it while washing with high pressure.

I Got my Revolver X2 couple of months back and it works great no leak and no problem so far. Was able to load up dirt bikes and mountain bike with no issue what so ever

I bought a Bakflip G2 trifold and it works pretty good. Very little seepage with a lot of rain. I like the flush look of it

I have the Extang solid fold 2.0. On my Super Duty I had the Solid Fold (the older version). I like these because they are easy to remove when I need an empty bed and don't require rails. I just fold it up and put it back in the box for storage until I need it again

I just ordered the Bakflip Revolution X2 today, I get it tomorrow and then will be installing. What sold me on this one was being able to open and close the tailgate w/o touching the cover. Can't wait.......I ordered it locally for $800.00

I'm looking at the Retrax Pro,a bit pricey but they're durable. I've also had BakFlip products in the past and had no issues

Nice looking cover! It is hard on the top, ie metal or covered in something? Just curious, it looks good and I am shopping for one.

Upgrading my wheels and tires to, yours are sized perfectly to my tastes, what size are the rims and backspacing? Tire size? 2.5 Level kit?
