It flashes out code 212 ive replaced the ICM and checked the spout connector for corrosion but it still flashes out 212 and has a rough idle no power on acceleration condition. Any help would be greatly appreciated on where i should go.
also when the idle starts acting up the check engine light stays real dim and if you rev it it will get brighter
Welcome to FTE.
Good idea to have checked the spout connector for corrosion.
Did the problem come about suddenly after some event, or slowly over time????
The dim CEL may be a clue, so check the quality of the battery to engine & body ground connections. They need to be clean bright & tight.
Keep us posted on your trouble shoot.

It actually turned out to be the PCM their was corrsion in on the bored and resistors broke off.
OK, good find, fix, feedback & to hear your trouble shoot came to a successful ending & your on the road again. Yup the ECM was on the suspect list too, after the battery B+ & B-/ground connections would likely have panned out.
