DayTime Running Lights disabling

Can anybody out there steer me in the right direction to disable or find out how to disable my factory daytime running lights on my 2015 F350 ? i have installed a set of Recon projectors with Haols & LEDs & want to have just the Halos & LEDs as my daytime running lights & have the factory(now the projectors) disabled so that once i turn the switch on the dash to "on" or "auto" my headlights will turn on(the projectors) and the "Halos" & "LEDs" will turn off

thanks for any advice and or help

I responded to this on your previous thread. Was it deleted or did you forget where you posted it?

2015 and older is a dealer only setting in the SJB. Requires the dealer to hook up to the OBDII port with their computer.

After looking at the 2016 owners manual, I do not think it is owner selectable. I think it still has to be activated or deactivated by the dealer.

On page 73 of my 2016 manual, DRL there is a 4 step instruction for switching them on so I'm guessing they can be on or off.

From 2016 Owners Manual

DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS (If Equipped)
WARNING
Always remember to switch your
headlamps on in low light situations
or during inclement weather. The
system does not activate the tail lamps
and may not provide adequate lighting
during these conditions. Failure to activate
your headlamps under these conditions
may result in a collision.
The system switches the headlamps on
with a reduced output in daylight
conditions.
To switch the system on:
1. Switch the ignition on.
2. Switch the lighting control to the off,
or parking lamp position.
3. Disengage the parking brake.
4. Make sure the transmission
lever is not in position P.

Only a Fleet order can get DRL initialized at the assembly plant

You can get a dealer to turn them on....well most dealers will

might need to take this bulletin with you

I know the 2016 Fusion I have on order will let the owner turn the DRL's on or off. Maybe the 2017 will also when it is released next year.
