What is the difference in the windshield wiper system from a 50 to a 52 cab. Where is a good place to find pivots for a 50 F1 or the whole wiper set up.
This is the one I bought several years ago (12 volts), I had to remove one dash support if I remember correctly, and if you plan on AC I don't think this would leave enough room. This pic is from the Sacramento Vintage Ford site. There site only shows pivots for 51 and up. Ill cruise a couple sites and post if I can find a 50 pivot. Good luck.
I don't know if there is a difference in the pivots for the standard vacuum systems on either, but there are big differences under the dash. There are braces for the '48-50 radio under those models that prevent using much besides stock without sawing on them. 51-52 doesn't have those braces.

PM MRCMAN58 (Jess). He should have what you need. He just helped me out with my '50 wiper setup and I believe he can help you too.
The big difference is the placement of the wiper motor. On the 48-50, it's in front of the driver. On the 51-2, it was moved to the center of the firewall under the dash. That would make all the linkage system totally different.

Yes, I didn`t brace my cab enough when installing new floorboards and the welds pulled it out enough that I couldn`t close doors. Saw a great deal on a 50 cab in Orlando with working doors so I ran down and bought that one. The rest of the truck is almost road ready.
