All electrical on my '50 F-1 has been changed to 12 volt...except my wiper motor. Can I get a 12 volt wiper motor that will hook up to the original wiper parts/linkage? If so, where do I find it? Thanks for any reply.

 

Early Ford Parts 1-800-543-5035 sells a 48-50 wiper motor 12 v two speed complete with wiring, switch and mounting brackets. I do notknow if it hooks to your linkage. Is your F-1 electric wipers or vacuum?

 

You can also look on www.f100.com, I have seen them or sale there.

If you have easy access to a junkyard, take a look at a Caravan or similar rear wiper. These go back-and-forth instead of round-and-round like front wipers. If you can make it fit under the dash, you're laughing.

I have also heard of guys using Volkswagen wipers, but those are rare here, so I have not had a real chance to check one out.
