Here is my problem.I just installed new brake shoes on the rear of my 95 F150 with all new hardware and rebuilt the wheel cylinders.I've done this many times.I bled the brakes both by pumping and reverse bleed but the pedal will only come up just about halfway.I also installed new drums.I am at a lose at this point and never had this problem.Any help would be appreciated.
I assume you tried to properly adjust the new brake shoes. Half a pedal isn't too bad. I would probably try to find a fairly untraveled spot and back up with one foot on the gas pedal and one foot one brake pedal and repeatedly hit the brake pedal. This way the rear brake shoes can properly self adjust. I have done this a few times. Just a suggestion. Good luck.
I manually adjusted the brakes until I got a drag when I turn the wheel by hand and the did the backup still the brake pedal is only half way.It use to be about 3/4.

Check fluid level (should bee within 1/8" of max) make sure vents in reservoir lid are clear, check rear adjustment and bleed. If your fluid is old (black) I'd change it.
