Boy, this year is really flying by.
Any plans for Halloween?
Other than celebrating Nevada Day in the Parade, I'll probably take Karl trick or treating in Carson City. Kaedon will be going with her friends & then spending the night.
I hear there's a costume contest at one of the Casinos in Dayton too! Hmm...
I get to redo the master cylinder on my truck this weekend. I hope to pay the difference to get a new over a reman this time. It is building and hold pressure causing the brakes to drag after a couple miles.
Happy Friday. Yes this year has gone by quick. I must say this has not been one of our better years. I Really won't be sad to see it go. I pray this coming year will be a much better one for us.
Craig, yes this year has flown by. Although it started out bad for me, things have picked up these past four months, and I am actually loving this year. Even with the stomach surgery.
Greg, that is too bad the MC is not working properly in your truck. Should be an easy fix with all the room you have to work with.
I dread the day I have to fix something under the hood of the silver bullet, everything is packed in like a can of sardines.
I went and talked with the parts store. I can upgrade to the new master but it is special order and they add shipping plus it would not be here until next week. I am going to give the free swap to another reman a try. The difference plus shipping would be as much if not more than what I paid for this one. Plus they have this one in stock.
Well, time to get ready to head into Carson City for the Nevada Day Parade. I'm not sure where I'll be in the parade or how many floats I'll be in charge of. If your coming to the parade, look for me!
Hope to see you there.

How about getting a power brake setup from a later truck? I know it is a lot of work to get it done but so worth it in the feel of the truck, not to mention better stopping.
I have no need of power brakes. The only reason to switch to power brake would be a front disk swap. I might consider it one day if a setup falls into my lap but I currently have no plans for it. I like the feel of manual brakes. When they are adjusted and working properly they are fine.
I have the replacement master on and it seems to be doing fine. Now I just need to adjust them out again.
