Cab swap and Centech harness install

So I managed to score as close to perfect rust free cab from a 74 f250 to replace the cab on my 78 f250. There was a lot of rust and oh ya the home made sun roof that was installed with roofing tar. I have no clue what the po was thinking. The wiring has been a constant problem for the 6 years I've had this truck so I decided to go with a Centech harness from what I've read here.
Jim is awesome to deal with. We talked for about 20-30 minutes and about a week later there was a box at my front door made for my particular truck. He added wiring for the electric fuel pump and the electronic control module. I also went with a HEI dizzy and one wire alternator. The cab swap was easy and the hardest part was cutting the cab bushings with a sawzall. Cab dropped on and bolted down with new bushings and hardware.
I started the wire harness install yesterday and have a quick question. Where the ignition switch wires attach to the fuse panel are some threaded lugs and the wires slip over it and has a nylon lock nut to secure it. Should I solder this connection? I'll try to load a picture also.
I want to thank this website for the all the information on it. It's been the most important tool in this project with all the info everyone has. Thanks guys.

This is what I'm thinking about soldering together or should I tighten the lock nuts down and call it good

As long as the eyelets are soldered to the ignition wire, no need to solder to the lug if that's what you mean. I have the Centech harness also.

Yes he includes the solder, heat shrink and all the connections needed. I believe there are some extras in there also. I can't say enough good things about working with Jim. He asks a lot of questions and has a ton of helpful advice. He uses all the original ford connectors and supply's the head light switch. His harness was a strait plug into the wiper switch and factory steering colum switch. The length of wires is plentiful also.
I scuffed the cab and put down a few coats of epoxy primer. It went on nice and thick and dried with a little gloss to it.

Hi,
its pretty close to original location but I moved it a little higher and closer to center. I have some aftermarket gauges and the wires couldn’t reach it in the stock location.

So a rookie question... I have begun my centech kit.. Im a little unclear the splice point for the headlamps. I understand the high /low/and park wires exit the firewall but I'm unsure how to splice to the existing fixtures.
