Reverse light switch

Reverse lights staying on .
i have a 2004 Ford f 350 crew cab dually 4x4 . As soon as I reconnect the batteries my reverse lights come and stay on ? Not running and without the key in the ignition . It has the tow package . It's an automatic . Is it the neutral safety switch ? Or is it something else ? Where is the neutral safety switch located ?
