glowplug module testing?

OK, I have an 01 f350 cali truck with the Glow plug Module in place of a relay. I have been noticing white smoke on start up even though we have just had cool mornings (northern illinois), I ran my scanner on it and did the glow plug test and it is coming up with circuit codes for 2,4,6,8. Since the codes are all on 1 bank, I am thinking the issue is in the module, from my understanding it is the equivalent of 2 relays.

So what is the best way to test the module? Can 1 shorted out glow plug make the whole bank seam dead (drawing all power away from others)?

The Automated OBD-II Glow Plug Test Command turns the GP's on for 30 Sec. and reports back. So, the DS is not activating.

You will need to perform a continuity (OHM) test on the DS GP Bank from the Module to the GP. But, first,

Also, a TSB for the Wiring End Connectors at the GPM indicates loose, broken contacts, and corrosion being a probability (an update is available). Clean them with contact cleaner [not brake fluid, carburetor cleaner, or degreaser] and see if this helps. My experience has been this corrects the issue 80% of the time.

cool, I knew about the issues with the valve cover connectors, but that should cause injector issues also, I did not know there was an issue with the GPM connectors. I was going to start resistance tests on the plugs but first will check the gpm for rotted connectors. thanks.

Maybe you may also beable to help me with another issue?

Ever since I bought this truck I get a code P0605 "internal rom error", but I dont get a check engine light for it. I only see the code when performing KOEO test, wich is the one that also pulls codes from the IDM, could this could be reffering to the IDM or the PCM?
I started thinking that this might be related to the IDM when I replaced the injectors with remans from riff raff, after installing them I get a CEL and codes in the pcm for "IDM codes". when pulling codes from the Idm I get the P0605 along with circuit codes for injectors # 2,3,5,6 but the resistances across the solenoids is the same for all 8 injectors. Any thoughts?
