ok so here is the deal. i have a 2004 ford f150 heritage edition. This evening i installed some new Sylvania headlight bulbs. I noticed when i went to drive my truck this evening i had no dash lights, running lights, and brake lights. On top of these two problems my headlights were staying on even when i turned the switch off. I am wondering if these new headlights are too powerful or what. I did a spot check on the fuses and they seem to be ok, but i am going to put a test light on them tomorrow. Any idea on what is going on?
I would unplug the new head lights and check the dash/ tail lights again.. It sounds like a light switch problem, but possibly tied to the head light plug in ? Try dash / tail with NO head lights ....... check plug in ...switch may be a concidence.
