So more stuff going on...I fixed the rotted out piece of frame with some new metal and picked up a hole saw to cut the new body mount holes. May be ugly welds but it passed the hammer test. I ground them down a bit and used an asphalt based undercoating to seal it up. (FYI the gas cans were not there when I was welding and grinding ). Tomorrow I pick up the new steel to replace the old rear sill. I am using square tubing 3"x5"x6' 3/16th thickness. Will post once I have it in, bolted up and the bed welding to it.
