Looking for 700whp

Looking to hopefully break 700whp in my truck. Already have an exhaust, intake, headstuds, egr delete, fass 150, 205/100 injectors and supporting mods. Should be at about 550whp right now and wanted to know what would be the best turbo to compliment the 205/100 injectors to bring me to 700whp. Will even consider compounds. I heard an s364 over a s475 will do it but want to know about other options.

The same thing that it takes to get a Dodge, or GM to that HP $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. and then $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to keep it running. And then after a year, you will either sell it or detune it so its drivable

I was thinking some enrichment things. Like Propane,NOx
and water-methnol injection.

And a BIG bag of cash.

I know a lot of people who have this exact fuel setup but many have different turbo setups and all are breaking 700whp and are also daily drivable. Also I only spent $1800 for the injectors, fuel pump, intake, exhaust, and the rest of the supporting mods so it's not that expensive either. The shop I work at takes the stock injectors and mods them to 205/100 and I did all the work myself so all I had to do was pay for parts.

And you think nothing will brake when you are showing off your 700 hp truck? Can I ask what you need 700hp for. I probably should just not comment here, but I have just seen this so many times. People wanting x hp just to say they have it. You can not tow with that much hp. The drive train is not designed to handle that kind of power. You will have problems and driveability issues.
Fast, Cheep, RELIABLE, pick TWO!
I do wish you good luck. But I will bet you will eventually have a lot of money in a truck that is broke down a lot.

The injectors are the factory oem injectors. The shop I work at has an in-house mod that takes the oem 6.0 injectors and mods them to 205/100 so I literally paid almost nothing for that and I did everything myself while the shop was slow so I paid nothing in labor. And I plan on building the lower end, suncoast trans, all the works.

You may choose to do with your truck whatever you wish... he wishes to get 700hp.... he asked for advise to get there, not opinions on why you wouldn't.

Tranny in stock form can handle about 500hp or so, plan to upgrade it fast after bumping 550-600HP. I'd call a speed shop known for making diesel HP and begin their, Josh posted a good link. You can look at some Diesel magazines for other shops info as well. I'm running the same basic mods as you are, but towing is the hold back for me... at a certain HP with supporting mods it becomes something the truck won't do well unless your pulling a sled or something of short duration. All centered around boost, turbo lag and RPM to create that boost. You don't want to hold 3000RPM to make 700hp on a daily driver either... so you have to decide, high HP or lower RPM drive-ability.

Currently most of these trucks run a 58-62mm turbo, for 700hp you'll need closer to 76mm in a single or twins to feed both low and high speed boost to remove lag. As mentioned, not cheap to mod past about 500hp. Your looking at $$$$ for a tranny and turbo $$$$.

Most of us here are looking for reliability and a few extra ponies. Post over in the race forum (I think there is one) for someone who's actually making that HP.

I've not read anything here on this forum (6.0) of anybody making that HP, I would submit that most replies will be to send you somewhere else or as previously posted... broke truck and big $$$.

Call a couple shops, start with shops near you to see if they can get you hooked up with someone close to you to ask questions of and see in person what they are doing. I'm saying this because you work at a shop, already did the injectors but the shop your at hasn't built a 700hp truck... that about right?

Good luck.

Speaking of transmissions. I can tell you that if you don't put the upgraded trans in and you start running power
one of the first things to let loose will be sun gears to the clutch shell welds. Ford use a spin weld process. The fix for that
is to TIG weld all the sun gears into place.
Don't know if they help with power. But what about ceramic coating the piston crowns?

Good luck with making power. Excess can be fun if you have the time and money to play.

If you can take photos of the mods as you do them and post that would be cool to watch.

Yea i still have ideas floating around for the trans. And for the work I have done pictures won't be much and unjust doing a lot of research on what turbo or turbos I should run. Not doing anymore mods to the truck for the winter. I have to wait until summer so I will have more money since I work two jobs and one is seasonal. Gotta settle down on the truck for now so I can pay my bills over winter but definatly will post pictures when it happens!

Can't wait till spring.

You might want to think about just adding to this thread.
So much easier to catch any updates that way.

The reason for the trans info was that mine let go this
last December and I was not pushing much at all.
Just Matts SRL tune. And I don't think it was even installed at the time.

I looked at that site Bullitt put up. For my money on a trans for that power (which I don't have either) It would be the $7k+ one. That's more then I paid for the truck
