4R70W question

...in my 2001 supercrew, I have noticed lately that when shifting from park into drive, there is delayed engagement...truck has 145k on it...I got it with 85k on it and its never been towed with me, and the fluid and filter has always been changed every 30k......Does this mean my pump is starting to get weak?Otherwise it shifts fine

More likely than the pump is that the forward clutch seals are not as good as they used to be.

It depends on what you mean by delayed engagement. Up to two seconds is normal. Longer than that indicates a problem.
