The 05-07 TBC will only fit those years.

If plugged into a truck without factory TBC, the output will still work, just not very well. This doesn't mean that all is well, it just means that it will work in default something compared to limp mode. To see if it works correctly, plug it into a truck that is already TBC flashed.

I picked mine up for $40 from my local wrecking yard with a 30 day guarantee. Its been in there for 3 years with no problems.

He has some very good info.

So you might be able to kill 2 birds with one stone/post.

BTW I have access to the wiring diagrams for the years
from 03 to 07 in PDF.
