Vent Window / Seal Replacement Help
I've checked multiple online parts places and no one sells the seal or whatever it is that goes in between the vent glass and the moveable vent frame.
I do have the seal for the seal for the door to the vent frame seal
Glass Setting Tape – Bob Drake
To get the size you need take the width of the channel minus the width of the glass then divide that by two and add a tiny bit for a tight fit.
On a separate thought I've heard some people say the reproduction glass isn't all as thick as the original so if you've sourced new glass that *might* contribute to a looser fit with everything else being same. Also, possible the replacement frames aren't exactly the same width in the channel. I'm not sure without comparing but I suppose something like that would be possible. The thought of getting the frame powder coated to decrease the width of the channel comes to mind since that can add a durable thick coating to items.
One guy said he ran into an old timer glass guy who handed him about 4 feet of a wider tape he had in his toolbox. Those kind of guys are awesome!

This link is no longer valid, but using the internet wayback machine I was able to find the pdf. Here's the working link. You can save the PDF from this site. https://web.archive.org/web/20130829...57-66Truck.pdf
Thank you for posting that link !
I saved it to my "one-drive" I hope.
I have had real good luck with Loctite gasket maker in the aerosol can for setting stuff. Maybe not a good idea if then removing glass after it sets.
There is a good glass shop up in Redding, Ca., called Ray's Glass, and he does lots of vintage auto's.
The windshield glass in my '78 Ford van was glued in way back in 2000, and Ray said he would have to break the glass to remove for replacement. Hmm.
I have seen different thicknesses of the setting tape in my internet travels. Probably will wind up either too thick or too thin.
I know when doing an internet "Search" for helpful info, I have found using the "Advanced" search selection to be helpful.
Good luck with the glass setting.
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
I've never looked through his catalog for 61-66 pickup parts, so was an eye opener seeing what all is available.
Although on page 102, it states the verticle wing-glass rear seal IS INCLUDED in the Division Bar assembly "F".
The seal "K" shown on page 103 doesn't have a pricing or description block. Interesting.

Welcome. If you right click and "save link as" it'll download. It didn't seem to work for me just clicking on it. I wanted the division bar kit install photographs.
