Trouble starting

Yesterday I drove about 50 miles and shut truck off. 5 minutes later, I went back out to start it and it had trouble starting. It took a few tries. Sounded like it wanted to fire, but wouldn't. It did after about 3 tries. It's been pretty warm here in AZ, but not sure that was the issue. Truck is new to me, but has 208k on it. Not sure what's been replaced previously. It runs great otherwise and idles perfectly. Thoughts? Thanks!

Sorry, forgot to mention that it's a 1997 F250 CCSB 4x4 automatic transmission.

My first guess would be a HP oil leak . A cheap test is to pull the IPR & look at the small O ring on the end for cracks ,chips , ect .
