Very rough idle when cold.

I have a 2007 F250 4X4 6.0 diesel. When first started it idles extremely rough to a point it sounds like a old gas engine missing. BUT after it warms up for about 15 minutes it runs and idles like a new truck. I'm thinking it's the injectors if so is this something I can change/clean ....
Thanks

Ps. I'm in Louisiana so it's 98* on a cool day , when "cold" I mean just started for many hours. Lol.

Injector stiction or maybe FICM. Get an electronic gauge system (a scan tool) to read engine parameters. Start with FICM voltages.

15W-30 with two qts of Lucus Oil Stabilizer. I know big mistake I learned from y'all. Fixing to change it to 5W-30 with two qts of Hot Shot Secret , stiction eliminator. I see now it was bad move to ad that Lucus and running that thick oil. I'm in south Louisiana so it's 95-100 degrees , so I thought I was helping.
What u think about Hot Shot products.
Thanks

Did this problem start right after the oil/Lucas change?
I'd start with getting rid of the molasses and getting some 5w40 in there. (Personally I use Rotella T6)

Honesty I don't remember. This is my personal truck and really don't drive it a whole lot till hunting season. I have a company truck. But I know bad move on Lucas.
Changing oil very soon

change oil to 5W40 Rotella T6 full synthetic with a motorcraft or racor oil filter only.
also make sure you have the factory size oil filter cap, and not one of the taller aftermarket ones.
i have read more people having better results with archoil rather than the hot shot.

Thanks for the info. About the filter cap , had no idea. Been using a good Napa filter w/cap.
Think I will change it with some 5w40 or 5w30 ( what's the difference )regular Rotella to help flush out the thick crap I've done to it. Then maybe 3000 miles or so change it again to the synthetic blend.
What y'all think ?

i would just go ahead and put in the 5w40 full synthetic and get rid of that napa filter and cap ASAP. then if you want change out the oil again a little early at maybe 3000 or so miles.

i change mine every 5000 miles regardless of severe or light duty.
Ford says every 5000 miles for sever duty, and every 7500 miles for light duty.

Change oil and filter every 5000 miles or 200 hours, whichever comes FIRST.
