Steering Pump?
I've got a 02 with a 4.2. It has 230,000 on the motor . In the last month or two I've noticed that when I am going slow, pulling into a parking spot the steering feels very stiff. The steering fluid is full and the Belt is less than a year old. I'm guessing the pump will need replacement . Any other ideas? Thanks Scott

Jack the front end up, grab one tire and try turning steering left to right and back again to each stop. If it doesn't want to turn by hand there may be a part starting to seize. Make sure to unlock the steering wheel with the ignition key before testing.
