I've wondered if it wouldn't be possible to modify the cup holders from a late 90's F150 or first generation Tundra to replace the ash tray but still look stock when closed. They both collapse down into a drawer like enclosure.
Yea. Those are some good ideas. Wanna stick with a bench seat cause currently the trucks fits my wife, 5 year old daughter and me. Maybe if I ever give the kid the truck I'll put just a single seat in there. No passenger seats. And I'll remove the bed completely. I'm not trying to be a grandpa too soon.
Ok so who has added cup holders to their truck? I have a 78 4 on the floor so that ash tray cup holder doesn't work for me. Ideas? Thinking about adding a grab bar on the dash and getting the cup holders for motorcycles that mount to a 1 1/4 inch bar. Solves the cup problem and keeps the wife from crying about my "erratic and unsafe drive practices"....women...
Wait a minute, your wife is in the truck=portable cup holder...
