1976 speedometer cable
the speedometer cable on my 1976 courier is having a rough time. I lubed it up and that fixed the wobble for about a day, but now it's back worse than ever. I bought one of those universal cores at autozone hoping to get lucky, but no fit. Just wondering where some of you guys get parts like this for your older trucks, because I've driven all around my area and noone seems to be able to help me.
the problem is that the end that goes into the transmission is both bigger than the end on the universal core, and instead of being square it's round with a little key that sticks out.
