Hopefully my link will work. I took my truck to the local Ford truck dealer for a front end alignment. I am very unhappy with the obvious lack of experience or incompetence of the "tech" that worked on my truck.

I can understand your frustration after that experience. I'll document your feedback so it'll be available for the appropriate folks to review. PM me your full name, best daytime phone number, dealership info, and any specifics you'd like me to include. I'll do the rest.
This dealer has a large enough rack for a long bed, or I think a chassis/box truck as well.
After taking it back yesterday, a different tech, and the original tech helping him, I have to wonder if I should not take it elsewhere to the shop my company uses for our HD trucks. For some reason I can't follow in my mind that they were using the correct procedure to do the alignment. Even from a mechanical design point of view they were pressing believability.
I just reviewed the alignment procedure provided by Ford for my truck. Between the 2 techs screwing with the toe setting for about 2 1/2 hours, I came to the conclusion they had the right idea, but used the wrong methods.
After the first actual drive, after #2 attempt by the joke of a dealer shop to align the front end, the truck now has the steering wheel to the left while driving straight ahead. Never again. It looks like I will have to go elsewhere and pay again to get the job done correctly. This p***es me off to the max.
Straightening the steering wheel alignment is a simple process. Take it back and make them do it right. You will be doing yourself and others a favor if you insist that the ones you paid to do it make it function perfectly.
Any decent alignment shop can straighten the steering wheel for you, but they are going to charge for doing it. You will also be letting the original techs get away with doing sloppy work and getting paid for it.
Take it back, demand it be done correctly, and make a scene if required and necessary, just be respectful while doing so. Talk to the general manager of the dealership if you have to. Maybe they'll provide the techs the proper training as a result, and if not maybe you'll chase away some potential customers.
