I have had my truck in the shop 3 times in the last week. For an alingment problem everytime they make it work. It pulls to the left and now the steering wheel is off. The dealership is just as upset as I am would should I do or say?
Heck don't even have a thousand miles on it yet.
Why is the steering wheel off? Why is the dealer upset? Im not following your post very clearly.... are you saying the dealer can not get it aligned? Or are you saying that its aligned but as soon as you take it on the road it goes back out of alignment?
If the dealer is upset then who do you want to vent to? Kind of hard to answer your question based on the info so far so I guess for now the best advice I can give is to try a different dealer.
I had/have a similiar issue with my '08. The stock settings from the factory have the vehicle setup so the truck will track straight on a two lane road, meaning you're driving on the side of the road with it crowning off to the right. As soon as you get in the left lane of a multilane highway that crowns to the left, you'll have to significantly correct the steering to the right for the truck to drive straight.
My front end shop adjusted that so there is only minimal correction either way. This required the purchase of some bushings to make the needed caster adjustment.
I had originally taken the truck to the dealer who claimed that "it was within spec" and that this is the behavior of large trucks. My dealer doesn't seem to really research these type of issues.
