HI, i am trying to get this 460 back together . I put on a 801 weiand manifolld.

i need to exstend the kickdown a few inches i have 2 should i cut a piece and weld in? what do people do ?

and you can see the angle of the throttle cable to the carb.. is it ok like this? what is the fix ? thanks

 

Holley makes a bolt on one I used on mine but it may not be long enough for your taller mani. You may just have to fab something.

 

Hello. I cut my kick down tube and found 4 inch metal tube that fit tight inside kick down tube and adjusted the length I needed and welded it together and it is hardly noticeable and works fine. And it retained the factory clips on both ends. You may have to take some of the arch out of the kick down tube to get proper angle but it is very minor.
