Sorry for the late reply, I was on vacation.

Doie,

From what information I gathered during my research, the CARB and BAR require everything that come before the cat to be stock or OEM. What come after the cat does not matter. So if your truck had a cat from the factory than your downpipe must be the 3" pipe as well or OEM. If you can find a shop to pass it as is great, but most shops are taught to look for this on diesels by the state and could loose their smog license or be fined for not enforcing the law. I can check my records for the shop name and PM it to you if you want.

Idaho F250,

I live in Citrus Heights, and yes California is getting very pricey. My old partner at work retired and moved to Idaho, it is a very small world. I'm working in getting out of this state, just need to get my ducks in a row...got a few things left to straighten out first. I actually bought this truck from Preston Idaho, drove out to get it and fell in love with it there. Its to bad my employer doesn't have offices in idaho, would make the move really easy.

Im actually heading down to Citrus Heights area tomorrow for a funeral this weekend. Too bad you couldn't have left your truck registered in Idaho. I live about 2 hours north of Preston. Idaho get prettier the further north you get, especial up closer to the Wyoming and Montana borders.

Have family in the Orofino area that we like to get up to during the summer. Also family in Stanley/Challis area, which is nice too, but a bit too much desert for my liking.

Western Montana has always been one of my favorite parts of this country.

My co-worker she has sense retired (quasi) bought his property in Coeur D'alene, gourgous. Like I said if it was at all feasible for me to move and still keep my job and income I'd be gone yesterday. So sick of this state and the political crap. In ol' hanks words some on the left and some on the right playing that controversy game....play some blues and both sides shut up"
