A little help planning please

Hello all. Thanks, in advance, for any suggestions.

I recently picked up the F100 pictured here. I sold my 96 CCLB PSD 4x4 and downsized dramatically. But it feels really good to have something to tinker on without worrying to much about the expense (the diesel was expensive).

So, this truck gets 15-20 mpg, was babied by the PO and is in pretty good mechanical shape. My goal is to have a good, solid daily driver. I'm not ever going to enter any shows, I'm not ever going to try to restore it to original showroom condition. I don't want to lower or raise it, I kind of like the stance as it is. I will eventually change the wheels and tires but the ones on there now are in great shape and I am going to run them as is for as long as possible.

I was hoping to get a little advice on where to start on body work. I am not experienced in body work. The bed is rusted out and so I was going to put some trex composite flooring in like a wood bed but with less maintenance. The PO put some sort of patches into both doors, you can kind of see it in the pic's. He riveted them in so I suppose trying to fix that all up is the next step. There are a few small dents, maybe that is after? Then pulling the trim pieces and filling all those holes (I'd like to get rid of the trim)? I'm in no hurry and will focus on the various mechanical things to fix first. But mixing in some body work will keep me interested.

I don't know if there is a 1-2-3 type plan or process I should be going through so any planning advice appreciated.

I REALLY appreciate the response but the site has lost about 80% of the pictures making it awful hard to figure out. I do appreciate the attempt though.

Hello Dan, Your smaller dents and it looks like a crease (?) down th edrivers door, would be best taken out with the help of a pin welder/stud welder. I think harbor freight has em for like $100. I'm not a professional, but have mucho experience.
To answer your original question, Complete 1 body panel at a time, as I know she's your daily. I use 2K primer (2 part epoxy primer) it is a high build, a PIA to sand, but it lasts!
Don't do a final sand until your ready for paint, you'll open up the pores (so to say).
