DANG! That sounds sweet. You may not know how fortunate you are to have friends, fellow students, instructors to join in the business of getting an old truck on the road. It has taken me 40 years as a full time hobby to learn what I know totally on my own. The first 85% without the internet. Do us old guys a favor and never stop messing with the old ford flatheads. Thanks, GB
Are you at Iowa Central College in Fort Dodge? I saw the back of the guys shirt in the video. I am at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. It's kinda cool to see this when its just right down interstate 20. Wish UNI had an automotive shop for me to work on my trucks...
Nice Work! Which Transmission do you have in there?
sorry for the late reply. I have a 4 speed from a 1949 f-3. Do you know the shift pattern on it. Ordering a custom shift **** but I have no idea where reverse is on these transmissions. Been trying to find it for a while.
Going to be about a week or more without updates. Spring break this week. Got the cab, bed, and running boards on for the final time. Going to start wiring when I get back to school. I am hoping to have it driving within 3 weeks.

Yup. Nice to see someone from Iowa on here. I live about an hour east of Cedar Falls. Going to be a long drive home in this truck
I am not sure where reverse is but I am going to guess that it is: from neutral, push the lever towards the right then down towards the seat. If you let the clutch out slightly to turn over the main shaft in the trans it will go into reverse a lot easier than just pushing it over there and down.
If you could that would be awesome. I have the pedal from a v8 and can't find a stalraight six one. Just need a general idea so I can modify one, as much as I hate doing that.

The six cylinder pedals are identical to the 8 cylinder pedals. There is no difference from the front of the bell housing rearward.
You know, I was just thinking the same thing when I was attempting to take pictures. It was darker than I thought and almost impossible to get a good angle due to where the truck is parked and the amount of stuff I have around and under it. But I tried and here are the results:
I apologize for not being more specific. Its the accelerator pedal that I'm having issues with. In my mind I knew which one but forgot to specify. Appreciate the pictures though!
