Been building a 400 and ran into a couple set's of cracked heads so i moved it to the side for a while. I found this 351m 12miles from my house for $150. Im gonna use the heads if there not cracked plus the intake and valve covers after a ton of cleaning, the short block will just get thrown in the corner.
Nice score Bud. I like those valve covers. They are sooo much nicer then the traditional chrome plated stamped steel one that everyone has. Congrats. Hope everything else works out just as good for you.
Thanks guy's, ive had some issues with building this new engine its nice to finally have some good luck. I like these covers also,i'll polish them up and make them look chrome when im done, dizzy pulled right out, drop the heads off today to find out if there good or cracked.
Looking good Bud. Fingers crossed on your head(s) being good. That cover looks like it's shining up nicely. What are you using for polish?
the best place to get alum polishing products is the big truck stops, thats where my polishing pad and polish stick came from,it helps also to have friends who drive trucks, they bring the stuff to your door like yesterday when my buddy drop that off in his old rig, thats him backing out my drive way.
