I have just PM'd admin about a sponsorship, and I am contacting IB right now through the Advertising Venue.

If it is affordable enough, I will pull the trigger most definitely, I have always wanted to at some point anyway.

At least that way people will be able to freely talk about my stuff without a boot on their neck...

Because this is turning into a mess, I decided to read the actual rules:
Recommendations of vendors by users is encouraged but excessive promotion of vendors (cheer leading) does not provide actual content
This seems fairly clear, but I'm curious where the line is between a 'recommendation' and 'excessive promotion' is, so I don't go over the line myself in the future.

I just scrolled through the vendors myself.... And there are no IDI specific vendors.

I PM'd a mod about a particular "Cheerleader" here, so hopefully that is dealt with appropriately...

I am going to say the last of my piece on the subject... I hope this wasn't the result of a couple of particular people reporting this thread, because if so, you stirred the bee's nest and now this place is going to be a little more uptight... ATS, Banks, Hypermax, Conestoga, R&D, Typefour, Pensacola, DCP, Dieselsite cannot be recommended by anybody now... And that doesn't even include the stuff that we use that isn't IDI related like Garrett, Borg Warner, Diamond eye, Harland Sharpe, Champion (radiators), or just about anything else everybody always talks about...

no panties to twist here.
other people, i dont know about.
seems like alot of loyalty is here, and thats usually a good thing, until a person does not want favored parts, then its all fire and brimstone.

any respectable business man would not bash their competitors, instead explain what their products provide. its like your running for goddamned office.
just remember, YOUR VOTE COUNTS!

as far as site sponsorship, this is a pile of gray matter, there are not many places you can get a refurbished IP, i suppose if diesel care spent some coin becoming an official sponsor, you would let them push their crappy rebuilds. im sure that would make alot of people happy!

furthermore, i only stated what i have experienced, i will never push an opinion.

bashing,respect

Hi all.
I'm writing from a long long way away. Generally, I enjoy the read, comments, posts, threads, you all have to offer. This thread has turned into a scuffle, probably a hijack, a couple of posts have tried to redirect this into more appropriate conversation. All credit to them. Everyone that reads or contributes here enjoys and has pride in the particular values these vehicles have individually. At times various emotions are expressed herein, hell, I learnt to drive a Chev and I still like 'em. That's fine. Remember what we are here for guys and gals , over and out.

ok, i think this one has run it course and people got what was needed to be said off their chest.
some posts were removed. not to punish anyone, and not to cause hard feelings.
i removed them simply because it is time to put this one to bed.
