Ok so I got the Refrig, I was reading online and I heard that the AC compressor needs to be on which I knew but... Is it okay if I add it with my AC compressor clutch engaging and disengaging like in the video that I posted?
It will work but take longer as the refrigerant goes into the system the longer the compressor clutch stays engaged.
well, all I can say is... the slot did not fit on the low pressure slot. by any chance is there is a attachment that will fit over the original slot that will fit. Did a quick look online and theres something called a retrofit valve, would that fix the problem.
1995 ranger should be an r134a system the small quick connector low pressure will be around the drier area the large quick qucik connector will be around the condenser front of truck. Your third picture shows the correct fitting setting on top of the receiver drier.

yah I tried it on the L Pressure the H is near the battery. Not sure why it isnt fitting but Im gonna try it tomorrow again.
It is the black cap setting on top of the black round drier with the pressure switch teed off of it. you should to be able to just push the connector on

Yeah that is the one I tried, doesnt connect fully. Seems like the refrigerant kit nosil doesnt go down far enough.
I had the same problem on my 94 Explorer. It had an aftermarket accumulator on it and I just could not get the hose connected to the low pressure service port for some reason (yes, it was a standard R134a port). I ended up installing a new accumulator and the hose connected to it no problem. I have no idea how the shop that charged it last was able to do so.

GREAT... I would love to change out the accumulator myself but I really dont feel like flush a system because I have no idea how to do that and I dont feel safe doing it. And im not gonna bring it to a mechanic because I dont have the money haha so i guess ill be having no AC until I get a new truck next year.
By the way do you know if they make a connector that scews onto the existing low pressure port like a extender?
my a/c compressor died before i got the truck, the pully turns but the compressor is seized i would like to know where you found a compressor for 100 bucks all the ones i have seen were north of 200 plus the reciever and orfice tube and the freone
