I saw the 6.4 one before but I just happened to break the stud off on my starter putting on the new cable today

I went with the starter Rusty listed in post 3 of this thread: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1368027-starter.html

It seems to spin faster than the starter that was in there. So far it is working great.

Easy as pie on the removal. Don't know why anyone would want to remove the fender well.

I think because they think they have to. Do to all the BS out
on the net. It tends to be newer people that think that way too.

I was scared about it myself til I got at it.
Off, on, and off again in about 20 minutes.
Now back on again.

I think it takes me more time to get to the tool box and
pull out the needed tools than it does to do the job.

You my friend are a "toolaholic". Step one is admitting you have a problem.

I avoided one of the places I go to "buy" things the other day.
Did not even go to the other place.

However I must say I did pick up one of the vacuum brake bleeders
that run from the compressor. Silly little hand pump just was not
cutting it. Also today is getting just too hot for flushing the brakes.
But that nasty stuff just has to go.

Also I do need to clean that mess. With the upcoming trip back
to the surgeon I may be out of commission for a while again .
They found more problems in the MRI I just had done.

Nice! I like the Frosted Flakes. For the late night, working in the garage and too lazy to get some food, snack???

We should start a messy/overcrowded garage photo thread. I can add a pic tomorrow of when. Working today, ugh.

Hate to hear that. If I was closer I'd give you a hand.
