starter replacement

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what brand of starter to get as a replacement starter? OEM? NAPA reman? aftermarket new?
1999 F350 diesel.

The Bosch and Beck Arnley (Mitsubishi) starters are a lot more expensive than the Motorcraft.... Starters are often a situation where you get what you pay for.

do you have any specific expirence with any particular one though? I put a NAPA reman'd starter in 2 years ago and it stopped working today (my truck is used in a lawn business, and the truck is started on average 10-15 times a day).

I use Bosch remans at work. They come out of the box looking like a new starter and work just as well. Expect to pay around $300.00 for it.

I went back with Motorcraft. NAPA was about $40.00 higher than the FORD Dealership I bought mine at.

Yes, but not pertaining to the 7.3....stock one's still kicking.
